After discovering my controller no longer had AC power, I ordered this to repair it. I carefully wired it in, matching the original exactly (and even took pictures to be sure). After plugging it in, there was still no AC power. I ran a continuity test over the fuse and it failed. After bypassing the fuse, I plugged it in again. At first it appeared to work, but then white smoke began pouring out of the circuitry of the controller.So now, having replaced the controller ($150), I have received a grand total of $17 of my original $51 purchase to cover the "restocking fee" and "cost of original shipping". Lovely. Would not recommend.

This is the second transformer I have used in my Weathermatic S1600 controller in 13 years. They seem to last about 5-5 years. This worked great after I cut the fuse wire and eliminated the fuse. The fuse blew out about 30 seconds after I installed it. I think the fuse is too small for this application, once I cut the wire before the fuse and hooked it up it worked great. My old transformer had no fuse so it is not a requirement.
