when i order this part i wanted to protect the hood of my vehicleThis part if put on without being attached to the hood with screwswill come off on the high way it can't be trusted.and I don't think i should be charged for returns you getting your part back all of it not part of itTHANK YOU

Instructions failed to indicate that one of the provided applications would result in a modification to the painted surface of my brand new car with a white texturing compound. Had to immediately use a car wax compound to remove it which makes the application of the device impossible.

Let me begin by saying that I have purchased many other items from Weathertech and I was always very pleased until this item. I purchased this hood deflector about a month ago and when I set it on the hood to check fit I had some concerns. When I tried to return it there was $39.00 return fee so I decided to keep it and install it. I and a helper meticulously followed those directions for prepping the surface and aligning deflector on car. Lined up the middle per direction and worked from the middle to the driver’s side and it aligned perfectly to the fender. Then worked from the middle to the passenger side and deflector hanging over on to the fender. Took it off and threw it away. $104.00 wasted. Thankfully I could reclean hood with alcohol pads without damaging the paint.
