Once installed, its too easy to knock loose. When opening and closing the hood its very easy to pop the hardware that holds it in place out of their mounts.

The WeatherTech Stone and Bug Deflector works very well and is easy to install. It was shipped in a oversized box well padded my only complaint is that the deflector is not as wide as I expected it covers the cental hood not extending much above the headlights. A more exact picture would be nice. I am satisfied with the product but still feel it is overpriced.

This deflector installed easily in literally 5 minutes. All the holes lined up perfectly and it looks and works just great. Only minor quibble was the little rubber bumper pads you're supposed to install on the hood so the deflector doesn't rub the paint off when it flexes. Trouble is the directions don't say specifically where the bumpers pads should be placed and it wasn't obvious because it doesn't appear that the deflector will contact the hood at any spot. So I just left them off. Maybe for my model (RAV4) they aren't really needed.

When I was researching Stone and Bug Deflectors for my 2010 Rav4 Sport I was worried that once installed there would be to little room to clean the front top of the hood, this was not the case, there is just enough room to get a wash mitt under the deflector. The WeatherTech model # 50154 deflector could not have been easier to install just push the clips thru the deflector and into the existing holes under the hood then run the flare screws into the clips about 10 minutes total work time. Very well made and the holes in the deflector lined up exactly with the existing holes under the hood. I deducted one star because even though the deflector was heat wrapped it still had some marks on it from bouncing around in the box which had no packing material inside to protect the product.
