I needed a pair of longer loop without a buckle in the middle and these works great. I use them and I have some as a backup set. Like that it has the clip so that way I can use it as a lead if needed

The product came in fast. The leather itself is soft and supple. It did come with one hook, however, so easy to remove. The pressure was nice and responsive with even the stubbornest of horses!Highly recommend.

I was really skeptical (and avoidant) of these reins for some reason until I got a pair of cotton trail reins and felt like I had no control over my pressure with my coming 5yo OTTB because they were stretching when pulled. With a snaffle obviously that’s important! I finally caved and got these and really love the length (long enough to let a 16hh neck stretch down) as well as the material. I swapped the scissor snap for a traditional swivel clip on each side for balance and we’re good to go!

I have tried a few different roping reins and they are always shorter than I want for trail riding. I decided to give these a try and I love the length. I was also pleasantly surprised by how nice and soft these feel in my hands. These are my new favorite reins.

Part of me was going to order leather reins just for the sake of having leather, since it wears in so well. But I went ahead with these reins because a friend uses them and recommended them. I really love them! Even though they have only one clip, I understand why: most people will only unclip one side to lead the horse around something or temporarily tie him to something. I prefer two clips bc I like them to be even weight on both sides for the horse not to feel any difference, so I used one of my stock clips for the other side. No big deal, because at this price, and at the quality of these reins, I have no issue with them arriving with a single clip… good buy, great price.

Nice leather but very strange that it only comes with a clip on one side.

I like these reins. They are a little stiff but seem durable. With my gloves on, I have good non-slip grip on them.

Weaver has almost always put out quality products (a few of late have been disappointing, but this review is not about them) so I bought these reins to go with the Weaver Brahma orange bridle I bought. Not only does it match perfectly (as it should since its from the same manufacturer), it is really nice. When I ride, I'm usually out for 3-4 hours or more so I wanted a one-piece rein that would be comfortable in my hands, durable for those long rides, and low-maintenance. These fit the bill perfectly. I would have preferred the matching orange but the black are quite nice as well. I do wish it had come with scissor snaps on both sides but I just bought one and added it myself. I like to have options with my tack!

Exactly what I wanted. High quality biothane reins. Good feel and length. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a quality low-maintenance set of reins!
