Decided to invest in this ball after the Horseman's Pride ones popped. This one lasted 6 hours. Popped after he struck it with hoof. UGH! Sooo much $$$. Additionally, I have received NO SUPPORT FROM WEAVER for warranty. They kept sending me back to Amazon, who sent me back to Weaver, who sent me back to Amazon...back and forth over and over. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!UPDATE - Amazon finally came through and provided me a refund. Thank you Amazon!

The ball was difficult to inflate due to the flimsy gadget that came with it. I inflated the ball to specified height. My young horse played with it a total of 15 minutes before he was able to bite into it hard enough to puncture a hole. I would not buy this product again due to the inferior material. If you do buy the ball, the fabric cover may be the way to go (added protection). But then you are looking at spending $70+ . There is always a chance that your horse may not play with the ball. My thoroughbred looked at it and walked away. He would rather graze.

The Amazon description for the large ball said it ( or at least had it in bullets) something about a DVD and using the ball for exercise for myself and my horse. I thought, in that case, this purchased included a DVD. It didn't. I went online and there is one 7 minute video with Westfall showing how to introduce the ball to a horse. I did not find anything else...I am disappointed, usually Amazon descriptions are much more accurate!!Other than that, the ball itself is the quality expected. I have used these before and a cover is REQUIRED if you want to keep it free from punctures, as well as keeping it inflated EXACTLY per instructions, or horses will tear it. The cover prevents the horse from grabbing the ball itself, but, eventually, it gets trashed. My expectations for playing horse soccer with friends is about 6 -9 months.....Thanks

My horse loves it only problem is my puppy likes it to and has punctured it due to her hearding nipping at heals instinct even with cover on

Have been using the activity ball as shown in the DVD for personal fitness and I can feel and see the results. It is helping me improve my posture and balance when riding my horse. The only thing I don't give a high rating for is the included pump. While it can get the job done it really is too small for the larger ball initially, I used my air compressor to fill it.
