Just received saddle bags. Much better then I expected. Has insulated bag big enough to fit lunch, snacks, drinks. Other bag has several compartments to hold whatever needed. Both bags have top closer flap to help secure items inside. Both bags have outside pockets easy access to drink or cell phone. Looks sharp on back of my saddle. Can't wait to use it.... I tried to add pic but won't load.....

I did a lot of research before choosing this trail bag. I really like it, it's great. My only complaint, and it's minor, is the length of the material from the very center could be a bit longer. My horse really isn't that wide, but I would have preferred that the bags hang down a little bit more on each side. Instead, they are kind of right on the top of her hip bone which causes the bags to flop around a little. They are secured very well, so they are not going anywhere, but I wish they went down a little farther. Other than that, the zippers are great, the size of the bags is fantastic, the material seems very thick and should wear well. I love that one bag has that white "lunch box" material in it. I put an ice pack in the smaller pocket and my food/snacks in the lined pocket and my drink/snacks stay nice and cold. This is a very well made trail bag. I wish it came in more colors. I bought the brown though, and it's a nice brown. All in all, I highly recommend this trail bag. Happy Trails!

It’s a lil bulky if you don’t have it balanced perfect . My pony didn’t mind the movement on her back from it but someone else’s horse might .keeps everything cold and insulated. I accidentally didn’t clip the flap and my pony was galloping and nothing came out ! Pretty impressive.

I bought the entire set of Weaver Trail Gear pack products (the saddle bags, cantle bag, pommel/horn bags, and drink cozy) for use on Search and Rescue operations. The bright orange color ensures visibility in the woods for hunters, search subjects, and other S&R personnel. The bags are well constructed so you can really stuff all of your necessary trail equipment. The saddle bags come with one insulated liner that will keep your lunch or drinks cold while you are out on the trail. I haven't used that yet so I can't speak to how well it insulates. One of the other big benefits of this product is that it is lightweight so it doesn't add unnecessary weight to the load. It also has well-reinforced grommets to attach it securely to your saddle and to add other components like the cantle bag or a bed roll, etc. Very good value, I anticipate many years of use!

I actually deliver eggs in these around the neighborhood on horseback and not a single broken egg. The padded freezer style side is extremely helpful. Seem comfortable for my horse, even if they flop around a bit when empty after our deliveries. Simple to secure to the saddle and straps adjust quickly. Tough material and plenty of room in the pouches. Really easy to wash up and just let air dry. No fraying or other problems so far.

This trail bag has been awesome! Easily adjust and fits all our saddles! Velcro pouch holds my pixal 3xl phone like a champ. Zipper pouch has been water tight so far in moderate to heavy drizzle. Zipper pouch will hold smaller phones. Like a iPhone 6. The side with the insulated liner works well however with ice or ice packs you can only fit maybe 3-4 12 ounce cans. With out ice or packs you can fit 6-8. So far it doesn't sweat through or leak. Distribute weight evenly or it will get lop sided (like 2 inches to the heavy side) Even when all fasteners are attached correctly. All in all. I strongly recommend it. We have two one in black and one in camo. And 3 of the pommel bags.

Just too many pockets for the size. It's not as big as you think, so all the pockets are pretty small. If it was just one big pocket it would be just right. Also, the top flap just folds over. If you are riding through the woods, it's going to load up with trash if it starts raining on you, water will be able to run right in.

These are really nice and practical. Much lighter than the leather ones I have been using, which is nice for lightening the load for my horse.

Bought these for a gift for a horse friend and of course we both had to check em out when she opened them. Very nicely made, nice thick insulation, pocket options are awesome, large and roomy too! I hope they hold up well, time will tell and if they dont so will I! If for any reason my opinion of these bags change, I'll update my review.
