Works ok for frozen stuff but have to hold the food in place while it's in the floating phase and wait till it starts to sink before I can use this product. Which makes me realize as I write this this product could be improved with a lid to keep the food from floating away. Any entrepreneurs listening?

I ordered two. Both of them had the front or back plate come apart from a poor glue job. Other than that they work great. I added more glue.

I like the construction of this a lot. It’s a quality product. BUT the frozen blood worms do not go through the holes unless you reach into the top and swirl it around - which makes the same tornado I try to avoid. If the bottom slits were longer, they might fall through naturally. The fish were there trying to get to them but just couldn’t get the worms out. I’m going to keep it to modify it a little. Hopefully that will be enough.

I think for this to work well you need a good surface current in front of it or the worms don't move around to start going threw the holes. I used baby blood worms and my fish just couldn't get to them. Overall great idea just not for my set up.

Hello, I am a young aquarist. I usually buy my products in store and have just recently started to buy online. I was looking forward to adding this piece to my tank when I realized it was broken. I took a photo and unknowingly threw the product away because for me it was useless. As I finally sit down to replace my item for what I thought would be free since I had a photo of the broken item. Turns out I was wrong and I needed to drive to a UPS store which I currently cannot do, in order to get my new item. I really wish I would have known this sooner.

I like the overall quality of the product but unless you keep your tank water 2 inches from the top it doesn't work because the suction cup is located too high on the item to keep the top out of the water. Didn't want to bother returning it so used a large paperclip to attach to the top cover of my tank so it would hang high enough in the water to prohibit food from floating out of the top. Not pretty but functional.

The holes are definitely too big to use for things like blood worms or black worms. But this thing works really great for red wigglers. I could probably even use it for nightcrawlers.
