This is a great loom kit. You have to make your frame. It comes with everything you need to put your frame together and then make several pot holders or other things. It comes with an instruction booklet that shows you how to put the frame together and how to make several different items - not just pot holders. You get 8 different colors to make your crafts and the hook to help you work the loops. Everything fits nicely in a little “toolbox”. The toolbox is great for keeping everything organized and easy to transport. This is a really great kit for kids to make their crafts.

This is a nice little loom kit, but in my mind it's overpriced. For the price, I expected much more.Yes, it has enough materials to make several pot holders, a storage case, and basically everything you need. The loom is smaller than I was expecting.Having said all that, my granddaughter loves it. She loves any type of crafting and this is no exception. She made a couple of potholders and they turned out nicely.I'm probably more critical because I was an athlete, not a crafter. But, to me, it seems the loom could be made a bit better - it just seems to be unstable. But she managed to work with it anyway. I thought it needed better instructions, but she figured it out on her own.Overall, my granddaughter is really enjoying it. On the other hand, I think there are some needed improvements if this is going to be sold for $44.99.

My 9 year old daughter loves this. She learned to do it in under 5 minutes. You have to be careful to put the plastic loom together really well it it can bust apart when you are almost done and cause a lot of frustration.I still really recommend to this loom. It's super fun and satisfying for kiddos.

This was fun while it lasted but the construction is poorly designed. While it’s nice that it breaks down and fits in a case, which I was excited for, it makes the frame easy to come apart while being used. After two squares were made one of the pegs broke and the loom frame came apart. I will say the first two squares were made by our oldest child while the third was made by our middle child. It doesn’t show the instructions for how to make the pineapple, which was the main thing our oldest wanted to make. She ended up figuring it out and the kit came with everything to make it.

I don’t see this being a good craft for children unless they have an adult at least familiar with crochet. The Quality is good for the money. It all comes in a self contained little craft box which makes it cute as well as convenient. It won’t be like starting a new craft and having to find a place to store all of the parts. Not only would it be fun for kids, but it’s definitely a fantastic little craft for anxiety or any condition that is helped by sensory tools or protects for self soothing. The bands are nice and soft and it’s a very tactile craft that yields results fairly quickly… so there won’t be the problem of half finished projects because my ADHD handled this very well and it’s always satisfying to actually have something to show for your time, rather one of many half finished projects that might be revisited later.I do wish that it was larger. The finished products are very small because of the size of the loom. That’s a bit disappointing. The instructions are not really very instructional. This would benefit greatly by a web link showing step by step the assembly and at the very least, how to finish the projects off. It shows examples of other patterns but no direction on how to achieve them. At the size that the squares turn out, I don’t know what the picture of the purse is meant to hold. There’s also no web link or info on ordering additional bands. I’m sure they are available with a search, but it would have been nice to truly get everything you need for this craft rather than it just appearing that way. Due to the limitations of the size, however, I plan to complete things and just later pull them apart and make new creations. I will definitely be on the look out for a larger version though because it is definitely relaxing and satisfying.

This is a cute loom kit for kids, especially for their first time with this type of crafting. I've been looking for one of these as an activity to do with my niece and this is a great introductory kit. It comes with enough supplies for several projects and all the tools you need to get started.

I had one of these as a kid and I loved using it but I'm not sure what happened to it so when I saw this, I had to grab it. This is nostalgic for me and has made me want to crochet other things rather than just potholders. There was enough bands for me to make about 5 different color/patterned potholders. The loom was easy to assemble as well. I think this definitely would be a great gift for a kid or even for an adult.
