This weed barrier fabric is easy to use and I'm very happy with it so far. It doesn't feel cheap, seems sturdy, lets in water but keeps the grass from poking up where we don't want it (between our raised beds). I doubled it myself but I think you can get away with one layer, unless you have really dense vegetation to cover (or are using it under gravel). I just cut it to size with scissors, it was already the width I needed so took me no time at all to install it with our garden staple things. Everything seems great, highly recommended!

I picked this up to put under our front rock/brick area to keep the weeds from getting through and it feels a lot more durable than the cheap stuff from the local stores. Fabric was easy to roll out and put into place. Not sure how the 3 year warranty would work but hopefully it keeps the weeds away for 3+ years.

Ordered this garden cloth to use as both a weed barrier in the extension of a garden bed, and as the base under a small gravel garden path. It is a very durable woven fabric, and I anticipate said it will be effective at keeping the weeds out. The weaving is fairly tight, and while it is slow to let water through, the fabric is permeable. I did an informal permeability test by pouring one cup of water in a particular area, and then measuring the water left after 10 minutes. After that time, 2/3 of the cup had gone through with only 1/3 of a cup water left. I thought that was pretty good for permeability, and anticipate that this will help to retain moisture in the garden bed. This weed barrier is easy to install. While durable and tough, it is thin enough to easily work with. It comes folded in half and can simply be unrolled, opened, and cut with either a utility knife or sharp heavier scissors. Garden stakes easily penetrate the fabric to hold it in place.Overall, I’m very happy with the quality of this garden cloth. The pricing is competitive with others of a similar size, and I would order more from this brand should I need to. Good product.

This product appears to be a nonporous plastic that will allow little to no water penetration. I am sending mine recent delivery back and would advise not ordering it. It is also very expensive.

I used this to cover my front garden beds after weeding them and planting another line of roses. I'm covering it with mulch now, and it's easy to push it around because the weed barrier is so slick and glossy. I did the front cut outs in the weed barrier with a knife and did the back row with scissors. Scissors were a lot easier and resulted in fewer strands flying all over the place. Water soaks through slowly, which hopefully means the barrier is too tight for weeds to get through. Now to finish the other bed.
