Really nice but the zipper broke when I washed it, other then that it was soft and would have been perfect. I am assuming I just got a defective one and they all are not like mine.

While it's a good deal for $20, it ripped when putting it on. The material is not very strong and there is no reinforcement around the zipper closures. The zipper only opens on one of the four sides, normally they open up on two of the four sides. This makes its very hard to get on, and easy to rip. They should make the zipper open on 2 of the 4 sides, or reinforce the area where the zipper attaches.

This product pairs great with memory foam mattresses to give it a sleek, comfortable feel. I was unsure whether or not to purchase it because of price seem too good to be true but it was perfect for what I needed. My 12in foam mattress fit perfectly, and I love the full coverage. Someone mentioned a crinkling noise (which is due to the waterproof coverage, however with sheets this was not an issue).

I recently bought these because I bought a 23 year old pop up camper. I was very concerned with the fact I would be sleeping on a used old possibly dirty mattress. I figured this would be an affordable solution to save from having to replace the mattress. I love the "Fresh Feel" they give me. I will also have it for the record, I was camping this weekend at it ranged from 93-97 degrees out side, and I did not have AC, I still managed to sleep comfortable (despite the elements) and which I never felt as if these were causing more heat to be generated. I would recommend these even for daily use. They are not crinkly or plasticky, yet I have full confidence that if I was camping in a huge down storm and my camper were to leak, I feel like this would still keep my mattress nice and dry.ALSO I DISCOVERD A CAMPER HACK (ON ACCIDENT)-I was really worried that these would be overly baggy knowing this was going on a 4inch mattress in a camper. Well as I was installing them, I accidently put them on sideways. Meaning: long side was on the short side and vice versa. This caused them to fit nice and snug and be a perfect fit!!! Note: this was for a queen size bed which is almost a perfect square. It is unlikely it would work for a full or twin.

This encasement seems fine. I docked one star because the zipper doesn't have a zelcro flap over the closure like my other ones have, so I don't know that it is really secure against bed bugs. However, it will definitely do the job of keeping my mattress clean and dry.

Great quality fabric. No plastic noise. High quality zippers. Size as described. Easy to wash in bathtub and drip dry or wash in gentle cycle and cool dryer cycle for a few minutes. I have a heavy TXL mattress and it's a bit of a challenge to do wrap it solo, but a lot easier than any other I've purchased (except the Allerease bedbug protection kit I've reviewed). The opening is super wide because of the quality and length of zipper. Yes, I recommend it.

So glad we got this mattress encasement. It was easy to slip onto our 2 year old Queen mattress and basically it makes it feel brand new. It is a good feeling to know that you have a cover to protect the mattress from dust mites, potential bed bugs, sweat, etc. (I wish we got it at the same time we got the mattress, but better late than never and our mattress is still in tip top shape). We keep our things very clean but this certainly helps. The material is nice and doesn't make any sounds under the sheets like some other plastic-y materials may. Would highly recommend!

Very cheap. The zipper pull came right off the end of the zipper the very first time I put it on. You can hear the plastic sound.
