This works perfectly as a replacement for the push button reset switch on our air compressor. There is no button to push so it does not mount back in place of the old push button style. It is light weight and has no problem hanging inside the case. It hasn't reset yet for us but if it does there will be no need to push a button in. It automatically resets. I recommend it as a replacement thermal switch for an air compressor.
