If your need are general these 304 grade machine screws will fit the bill. They seem well formed and accurate in their dimensions. Unless you need 316 grade for marine applications or in areas that are more corrosive these are the perfect machine screw to use.

Make SURE the screw you need is a M4x.07. These are exactly that size/thread pitch. The problem is that what ALL of the cabinet hardware that I have and/or could find it the home improvement stores uses a M4x.08 screw. These are not correct for most cabinet hardware. Fortunately, I found drawer pulls that included two length screws. Unfortunately, I had to replace all of the drawer pulls in the kitchen. I don't know why it is so difficult to find a M3x.08 screw.

I had to order these for my handles my wife had ordered because the screws were too short that were provided. These screws work fine. However, I only have it a 4 ratings because some screw heads were not machines properly and couldn’t be used. So far only 3 or 4 out of the 30 I’ve used.
