As it turns out, I have several other 45 pound plates for my barbell, and this one makes it an even number for me. Makes it a lot easier to set up the barbell!I also use the plate for curls and other single-weight exercises, because it has what amount to handles on the side. It's probably the most versatile plate that I have because of those "handles."This plate is not cheap -- it's about $100 -- but its versatility makes the price worth it, and I can recommend it for that reason.Recommended.

These are great 15 lb set of olympic weights. The rubbery plastic coating was slightly oily and there was a faint smell on delivery - common to all of my black rubber weights. The smell went away within a day or two in my gym garage and a quick wipe with a rag and some dish soap and they cleaned up well. The hole is properly sized for my rouge bar - not too tight or loose. I like that these take the place of a 5 and 10 when doing warm ups - quicker to swap with less plates to move.

These are pretty nice rubber coated plates. They fit well on my bar and the weight seems pretty accurate. They come pretty greasy and get black on your hands, but that can be cleaned off. They don't quite match up in size to other plates I have, but that's not a serious drawback for me.

Be aware, this weight is huge. Notice the difference in size between 15 kg and 10 lb weights. May not fit your setup.Weight is slightly more than advertised. I get 15.1 on my foot scale.
