Be careful because once you unscrew the top, ( yes it can unscrew) it’s going to be easier to unscrew by itself, but other than that, it doesn’t fully unscrew by itself, and you just have to do it yourself sometimes. Good product though

Gonggi instantly caught my eye—it reminded me of the ancient game Jacks, also known as Knucklebones. Both have stood the test of time, and for good reason. Watching a quick YouTube demo made the gameplay click: five small pieces, toss and catch, deceptively simple, endlessly challenging.As someone with a short attention span and a bit of hand clumsiness, Gonggi is perfect. It boosts focus, hand-eye coordination, and concentration—exactly what I need. I bought a 3-pack for my community game days, but one’s definitely staying with me! The hard plastic pieces are the perfect weight—no wild bouncing like the silicone ones I tried. They land and stay put, making it ideal for casual play on any surface.While I’m a digital gamer at heart, this reminded me how grounding and rewarding tactile games can be. Gonggi isn’t just a fun challenge—it’s a tool for sharpening the mind. I’m officially practicing to become a Gonggi master—low attention span and all.

This is really good gonggi set. It's weighted, colors and design are very accurate & the case is a plus. This is definitely worth it game wise and money wise. Quick Tip! When it comes in check for loose gonggi sides I would recommend you twist it till tight so you don't have beads spilling out but after you do that have fun! But for real definitely worth it!

When I saw this on Amazon, it was easy to choose because the item is intriguing. They appear in a very sturdy carrying/storage case. The individual pieces are colorful, nice to the touch, and weighted, which makes them easy and fun to use. They will provide many hours of entertainment and enjoyment while developing the skills to play. Since there are no instructions, one might explore YouTube for videos that will give some instruction in using them

I only gave these 3 stars because I couldn’t figure out how to use them! I watched the video before I bought them and I guess I thought they were more like Jax. The spiky things that you grab after you bounce a small ball and then you have to catch the ball immediately after grabbing one of the Jax. Then you grab 2, & then 3, ect. This didn’t come with a ball and they don’t bounce. When I saw what the person was doing, he made it look very simple & I figured I’d be able to do that, easy, peasy!! Boy was I wrong and disappointed!! I will keep trying! I have them now so I’m not just going to give up! We have lots of kids in the neighborhood that I can play this with and they will probably be able to help me AND BEAT ME!! I’m sure we’ll have lots of fun! Even if we don’t play it exactly the way the person in the video does! It’s not expensive at all and it brings families to the table for an evening of fun and laughter AND you even can get to KNOW your kids! And you can have your kids invite their friends over to play with your family and start talking about what they like to do!! FRIENDS are SO IMPORTANT!! This way, you get to know who your kids are hanging out with, even when they’re TEENAGERS!! This is a different kind of game! Very unique! Something they probably have never seen or played before!!When I first took the pieces out, I thought they were nothing! But then I shook one and realized there was something INSIDE THEM!! They are heavier than they appear!! And so they are much more durable than they appear to be as well. I do recommend this game for its uniqueness!!

These are a delight. The gonggi from each of the three sets weighed 28 grams, or about 5.6 grams per stone. That compares to 24 grams for a different style set I have. Most information I have seen online merely refers to "heavier" and "lighter." One group discussion referred to 30 to 32 grams per set of 5. The design apparently closely matches those used in the "Squid Game," and may not represent a traditional Korean pattern. I'm not likely to develop much skill, but I enjoy the tactile pleasures of rattling these around in my hands and rolling them like dice. Good fidget toy.
