This is a pretty great option for those looking to utilize this as a weight vest. Lots of adjustability and seems pretty comfortable! If you don't already have the plate weights that go into this, pay the extra $ for the curved ones.I would say for smaller people, probably smaller women more specifically, this may be a bit large and I could see some having issues with the adjustments getting small enough. But for average builds and above, there's plenty of adjustability to find your perfect fit. Durability, I will have to see over time but nothing about it feels "cheap" like it's going to break or wear down quickly. It seems pretty fair quality to last some time! Do I think it will outlast other, more expensive options? Likely not! But this is a great entry level option for those getting into using a weight vest like this and I would recommend. Great to not break the bank but have something that will work!

I have some SAPI plates from when i was in the military. it was able to fit medium sized plates without issue. I do believe it is possible to fit large or maybe xl plates. the clips on both sides of the ribs are VERY tight. I had to use two hands to even clip it on. i guess its a great thing because you know these cilps are beefy. I do plan on using this vest to work out with. stitching feels strong because i tugged on it hard but not hard enough perhaps because i was worried i would tear it. can i fit my molle gear and full load if i wanted? I am going to say yes because it feels sturdy enough. i wish there were side carriers to it because then i can add rib plates to it.

This product has so far left me baffled. I've never owned a weighted vest like this before, and I don't know the first thing about what type of weights it is supposed to hold, what they are called, or how to attach them. There was nothing inside the plastic bag other than the vest -- no instructions, no diagrams, nothing.I proceeded to spend a fair amount of time struggling with the straps to try to adjust it to my size. I wear a men's medium shirt, and this vest appears to be made for much larger people than me. The straps are quite stiff and irritant rather difficult to tighten. I've never had this kind of issue with straps before. The buckles are huge, very stiff, and sometimes don't line up well when trying to buckle them closed. They also feel kind of cheap.The shoulder pads didn't line up over my shoulders, so I assume the straps need even more adjustment. The nylon straps themselves are resting on my shoulders instead of the pads, and there's no way that can be the intent.I already mentioned my ignorance of what kind of weights to get and how they are supposed to affix to the vest. There are hook and loop fasteners near the upper part of the front and back of the vest, and the lower part has elastic fabric loops.2.5/5 stars. This vest and I really aren't vibing. The quality seems OK, I guess? The fit is poor for a medium sized adult torso (way too much extra strap material after tightening) and adjusting the straps is extremely cumbersome and time consuming. I got frustrated with it after about 20 minutes and hung it up in my closet for another day. I hope you'll have better luck if you decide to buy it.

I was apparently too undiplomatic in my initial review, as it was deleted by the powers that be. So, in summary, here's my thoughts on this vest:If it was being marketed strictly as a fitness vest, allowing users to add weight for training purposes, that's fine. Just be aware, you'll need lots of molle pouches for those pieces of lead.My beef with this vest is it's being marketed as a cross-over into the tactical / self-defense world. And using this vest to protect your life is not what it is even remotely, properly designed for. The plate pouches are oddly sized, being too large for a 10x12 and too small for an 11x14. The sides secure poorly; no velcro-adjustment, no double-security closing mechanism nor design. Lastly, the US flag included appears to be stained yellow, not one designed from the ground up for a coyote tan application.If you want this for fitness, larping or airsoft, that's totally cool - just don't think this vest is a viable option for protection of life.

Simple universal plate carrier! Add in your own training weight plates or install a nice set of ballistic plates to have a spare set in your vehicle. It fits SAPI size large and medium plates. The nylon material this vest is made of is relatively high quality.Weight is under a pound because weight training plates are sold separately.Comfort is great, with the included shoulder pads it sits in the perfect spot on your shoulders.Size is universal from T-shirt size small to roughly 3 or 4x with adjustable straps and cummerbund.Overall 5/5 Good value plate carrier!

Weight vests fits me okay, it does as advertised but isn’t super comfortable running with, had to wear it over a sweater so it didn’t rub as much, molle is accurate and fits mostMolle gear. Not bad for the price

This rig has a lot of nice features, it has many straps, and those straps usually has some Velcro or something to tie them down to, so they aren't just flapping around. Really like that. It is really easy to slip on and off with the buckles. Ventilated well and seems good for workouts. It fits me great, and I imagine it'd fit most great. So adjustable as said above. It is pretty comfortable to wear with one area that is troublesome. Around the neck I have had the shoulder straps rub up against my neck leaving some irritation. Knowing this I can adjust the rig accordingly and make it work fine.

superb quality for a plate carrier. i loaded t right on up with one in the fron and one in the back and went for a run. it survived the wash and intial wipe down with cleaner. no discoloring and very sturdy. it survived 5 miles no problem. easy to adjust and very easy to put on. the buckles are oversized and easy to clasp.
