Perfect fit for our travel trailer. Easy installation. Bolted right up. 1 wire splicing (I did add a inline fuse as precaution). Motor is nice and quiet both extending and retracing. Nice cover and flood light.

It was easy to install and worked well, that is why I ordered a second one for my other trailer.

The motor seems a tad slow but this is my first electric jack so this may be normal. Installation was easy and it works as expected. One issue I have which is the reason for only 4 stars, I have an SUV and the switch for the light blocks my tailgate from opening and closing so if you have an SUV keep that in mind. It is only lacking 1/2 inch so depending on where the jack mounts on your trailer and the length of your hitch may affect this. I wish there was a way to relocate this switch as it sticks out about an inch and if I was able to move it then this jack would be perfect.Unfortunately the timing of my trip prevents me from returning it and buying a different model that would clear my tailgate.

I got new two of these units and it was a disaster, packaging is horrible. First one I got the packaging was destroyed because of lack of packing material. And then I hooked it up and seemed to go smooth till I got to our campsite and the switch broke inside and shorted out something and the gear was jammed so I could not hand crank it so at our campsite I had to open it up just jump it just to get my trailer off my truck. So I removed it and sent it back when we returned from camping. And I went into this thinking maybe because the box was so damaged it was damaged in shipping so returned and ordered a second one.Second one arrives way later then promised making us miss another trip we had planned for our trailer. I had to go on a trip so it sat in my garage for about a week till I went to go install it today. I went to install it on my trailer and the head was facing the wrong way no matter what I tried to do, and then come to find out it had holes drilled in the back for some reason, So I decided to open the top and investigate and some wiring was not as the first one was and the light switch did not work at all, it just wiggled back and forth. So Basically only thing I can think of is that this company sent me a used broken one in a new box.So because of this sub par jack that has obvious switch issues since both of mine that I got had issues with the switches. You might actually be receiving a used unit when you think you are getting something brand new.And you can see from the pictures the drilled holes in the unit for who knows what, and the A frame mounting is backwards on this unit. I did not get pictures of the inside mess.So really disappointed and will never purchase another item from this company ever.

Worked like a charm. Our trailer is a 1968 Aristocrat, not particularly heavy at the tongue but this will make it significantly easier to move and level when we are traveling. The mounting bolt pattern was different on our trailer tongue, but that's because it's an antique. Most newer trailers have direct matching bolt pattern to this and it should just drop in, but definitely measure your tongue Jack hole first. I appreciate the handcrank feature, and the unit seems well constructed as well as easy to install. I'm not in love with the exposed wire for the fuse, but you can easily manage that when you do your installation and use zip ties or wire casing to protect it. Just depends on how rough you plan on treating the thing.I will say, I purchased one similar to this at a similar price a couple of years ago and that one seemed to be a little better quality, but that's just the nature of materials coming into the US these days. They make everything to break eventually, I'm not sure how long this will last but initial impressions are good.I would recommend anybody looking at this go ahead and pull the trigger, it's not a lot of money for what could end up being a real back saver.
