The magnet is so strong that it sticks to you work when you go to remove the clamp. The clamp can also be used a s a conventional ground clamp. I will try some epoxy to keep the magnet on clamp.

The magnet had two insulating washers under the magnet and one under the nut. So magnet cannot be used to ground while welding.I just removed the magnet as I did not see a way to secure it properly due to magnet is so strong.

The magnet is VERY strong. However, it is SO strong that it pulls itself out of where it sits. I had to rough up the bottom side and super glue it in place. Who knows how long that'll last.... The clamp is large and clamps well however. Does the job, but a little deceiving description gets this a 3 star

Magnet stays on whatever surface you stick the clamp to. I'm going to try and epoxy the magnet in so it stays
