It says it fits up to a 3x which is not true. At least not an American size 3x. Otherwise it is well made.

I got this for Welding & Metal Working. It is absolutely PERFECT for such work. Sparks from the grinder are no longer an issue. Its SUPER durable & is very resistant to burning, as well as heat.As I am SURE this Apron can be used for a PLETHORA of uses & Jobs/Duties. But what I can tell you is that this is definitely one of the better leather aprons I have ever had in my 10+ years Blacksmithing.

This thick leather apron is well made and offers an impressive level of protection from heat and flying sharp debris. I am a flint-napper and I make arrowheads and spearheads in the same way that the natives have done for thousands and thousands of years. This leather apron helps protect me and my clothing from flying razor sharp chips of flint and obsidian. This apron is very, very cut resistant and helps me to stay safe while making arrowheads. This leather apron is super thick and the one I received is very stiff and will need to be broken in.

This is really nice, thick leather with pockets and adjustable neck strap. It is made well and very sturdy, but kind of stiff. However, since it is genuine leather -- it will wear and patina to be nicely worn and comfortable without losing any of it's quality craftsmanship or ability to protect from sparks, slag, or heat. The price was great. I recommend.

Got this for my daughter who is learning jewelry casting. Heavy duty, would provide excellent protection in the event of a spill.

I had high hopes for this item, mainly because I destroy clothes while welding and grinding. This will help for that, but there are a few areas that have been value engineered that I think could be improved.The leather itself is the good part of the apron. It's reasonably soft but tough, and has a semi-rough texture. There are a lot of pockets to choose from that can hold tools and supplies. From there, the value engineering gets more obvious.For starters, the straps look like nylon webbing - which most definitely is not flame resistant unless it's been treated with something. This can be forgiven to an extent since it won't be very exposed to direct sparks behind your back - unless you're working with or around other people.The rivets that hold the straps to the apron aren't the highest quality, one of them was actually rusting when I took it out of the package. They seem like they will do the job, hopefully they will last as long as the leather portion.The plastic adjusters for the webbing are also on the cheap side. One of them has not even been deburred and will need some sharp edges filed off.This apron is kind of like inexpensive leather welding gloves - you're not buying fit and finish so much as basic function. While it is basic, it's also functional and pretty low priced. I don't think it will stand up to hard or daily use, but for us hobbyists, it will provide some good protection and help keep your clothing intact.The leather part is good enough that if I have issues with the straps or hardware down the line, I will improve them and keep using it. If you are on a budget and need some basic protection, consider this carefully.
