Professionally, the Quacker clamp is used to hold foam core or other material to a C-stand. Unfortunately, the price for thee has risen so much that they are not affordable. Pls, they are heavy and bulky. Enter Well Making clamps. They are fairly well made, and can easily attach to a 56/5 c-stand arm or other stud. The can rotate in multiple directions and the clamp can hold a 24x36 inch card. They are lightweight, and don't take up much room. In fact, the kit comes with a change out spud that has a 1/4x20 on it to use as a monitor connection to a stand or any other device using that thread. The versatility is very high for the money spent. You can argue that the nylon like plastic may not last long, or crack when tightened. I have used the non-clamp variety well making bracket for over a year holding 7 inch monitors and lume cube light panels and they have work really well.

Not very strong. The rubber tip will be lost the first time you use it. it comes off really easily in my opinion it should’ve been glued on at the manufacturers.

The clamp is perfect for holding a reflector on a light stand for photography. The additional threaded insert provides a place to add additional lights to the articulated bracket.
