They work as they should, as someone else mentioned they have rolled over edges that helps to insert as the wood swells from the glue, very nice to work with, I have bin a woodworker for over 50yrs and these are a good alternative to cutting my own splines which I still prefer. R.J.S.

When I first received these, I thought perhaps they might be a compressed wood product, or even some sort of plastic, since they had a shiny appearance and just felt different than other wood biscuits I have used. I was wrong. They are solid wood and appears to be highly compressed which seems to make them stronger than other wood biscuits I have bought. To test I had to use two pliers for leverage to break one. Definitely more than enough for its use but non-the-less, these are very nice. Each biscuit has a standard thickness of 3.5mm (.13-inches) thick. At a price point of $5 (25% less than sold locally), this is a good buy, and I am extremely pleased with the quality of this product.

I just gave a review of the WEN biscuit joiner. It's a good tool, although I do not think the average panel glue-up requires the addition of biscuits when gluing/clamping confers adequate strength. I have less to add about the biscuits themselves. The y work -- they fill the holes and expand. I have not used biscuits that don't expand appropriately, etc. I recommend these because they work.

#10 biscuits are the go to jointing method when doing glue ups on smaller project. A post glue up cut through the joint showed complete glue absorption and the cavity was fillled up completely.

My husband needed more biscuits and locally a bag of 50-#10 was $7.99 (also out of stock). These WEN brand were $9.98 for 100-#10 a great deal! This is the second time I've ordered biscuits from Amazon and both different brands were good quality for my husband's wood working needs.Would recommend and buy again.
