I have this as a auxiliary box, meaning I use it for one item only. And that would be my Can Am Spider. The Spider requires tool sets that are very unique and special for it's own needs. And example would be two end wrenches, and only two. Buying a whole set for that is a waste. So you don't put the whole set in the tool box. And you duplicate ones you don't want to pull out of your master roll away boxes. This little guy is ideal for this and I can see a million things you'd need it for. A motorcycle, a watercraft, a quad. All would have their unique needs. That said, the castors need flat washers as they hit the other bolts on the underside of the unit, but that's it. I'm very happy with mine. Especially considering it's built just as solid as my big roll away's.

Issues: Minor scratches, loose washers and nuts banging around inside the chassis, and no instructions on assembly in the box. The Wen website for this part number does have a PDF manual.Caution: There are 8 M8 bolts in the package, 4 of them are 35mm and 4 are 40mm. The 35mm are for the round outside holes, and the 40mm are for the round inside holes. If you read the manual then you know this, if yours didn't come with a manual and you deduced assembly then you might get these mixed up.Note: You will need a 13mm wrench for the nuts and a 14mm wrench/socket for the bolt heads.Overall, I really like this roll-around toolbox. For the price it's a good buy. I did not have the problems that others had with packaging and rust. I can live with the minor scratches. Assembly was easy.

This is a great little rolling tool chest. I just do basic household repairs, so my tool ensemble is not very sophisticated, but it holds everything I need!I was a little challenged putting it together since it had to be done by hand except for two screws where I could use my mini power tool. But after a couple of mistakes where I put in the bolts upside down by the casters (the wheels wouldn't fully turn), I finally assembled it in very little time. This is a compact but sturdy metal tool chest. It easily rolls over flooring or carpet, and the seat is comfortable. I love being able to sit working on my projects and just reaching to grab what I need. It has a tool holder in the back, and I love that the side trays fold down for use and can be put away for storage.I looked at a lot of tool chests and carefully read the reviews. I think I purchased the best possible, price effective item for my needs. I'm not sure how it would stand up for professional use, but for household repairs, it is the perfect solution!

Aside from obvious use in garages and workshops, this is a great idea if you live in a small space and don't have room for a more capacious tool chest and would also like a short, mobile stool. Would also be an ideal "my first toolbox" gift for a kid. This has a fair amount of storage, rolls smoothly, is sturdy (at least for someone who is not huge), provides a useful seat, and takes up little room if you fold up the sides. The drawers "catch" a little when you close them (in an intentional way), so they do not just open by themselves; you have to want them to open. They come with liners, which was a nice touch. Easy to put together in 30 min. or less by one person, with vary basic tools (couple of crescent wrenches or socket drivers, and a Phillips screwdriver). Just make sure all the bolts are going upward; if you build it wrong, with the cap nuts on the bottom, they'll interfere with the rotation of the casters. I'm using this on a hardwood floor and the wheels are not leaving marks. But I only weigh about 165 lb. If you weight 325, who knows? Unlike the ones a few reviewers had issues with, mine did not arrive with any missing parts or holes drilled in the wrong places. It all was just right. The only down side I can think of is the huge ugly orange logo, but it was worth it to get this for about 20% less than every other variant of this (several sellers, but all clearly getting from the same factor, and just putting different branding on it).As other commenters have noted, you can do various modifications of it with comparatively little effort:* Over-stuff the seat.* Hinge the seat, and use sheet metal to close off the gaps under the seat, creating an additional storage compartment.* Replace the casters with taller or shorter ones, or more heavy-duty ones (threaded, though; this doesn't use the snap-in post found on office chair casters). I think I will get some taller ones, with wheel locks.* Add on magnetic stuff, like a nuts-and-bolts cup.

This thing arrived in a big box. It took just a few minutes to assemble. I sat on the nicely cushioned seat, and it was easy to glide around effortlessly on it. There are magnetic tool/parts trays on each side that fold up when not in use. There are 3 smallish drawers that can easily hold a fair number of essential tools. And there is a rack that screws on the back that keeps screwdrivers and nut drivers at the ready. It is very sturdy.I am really glad I discovered this item. Getting down and especially getting back up again were becoming ever more challenging. At least for the time being, this helps solve that issue.
