This hat box is great. It was put together nicely and it is quite sturdy. Not easy to break apart. As a crafter I did try to make a hat box out of cardstock once. It is a lot of work and requires a lot of patience. Took me several hours to accomplish. So for the price of this box, it is a great deal. Also the way that the box was put together, the cap is a one piece surrounding it. Rather than many pieces put together. The material is a thicker glossy paper. Sort of like poster board paper. So in case of any scuffing it is easy to clean off because of the wax. It is a solid plain color, but you can definitely decorate it with a sticker or decal of some sort. It is a good big size too. Great as a snack box or a small gift.

I've never seen a gift box shaped like a baseball hat before so I just had to get one since we're totally a baseball family. My son is on two baseball teams so I'm always giving him baseball themed gifts - this will be perfect for his 14th birthday coming up. The box inside is smallish, but it will easily fits some baseball game tickets, packs of collector's baseball cards or some baseball jewelry. It came packed really well so it wouldn't be crushed (after all, it's made of paper and could be easily damaged) and I'm happy to report it arrived in perfect condition. All the folds to make a baseball hat shape are pretty impressive! After using it as gift wrap, we can use it as a table decoration for the actual birthday party when all his friends come over - he always has a baseball themed party so this will fit right in. Totally recommend this to any baseball fans! You could even put a sticker on the front of your favorite team's logo to make it more personal.

It's a good product that is made well but it's a little expensive. Mine arrived bent. I'm not sure how since it was delivered in an Amazon box and inside was another box holding this and both boxes were not damaged.
