Great maps for finding all those tricky turns. I tore the pages out that I wanted to use that day and tucked them in my pants pocket. Also great resource for phone numbers, hours of opening etc.

I've done many long distance trails and the only book I carry are trailblazers. The mapping is brilliant+ all the other information for transport and pubs,bed & breakfast, hotels,shops, elevation and distance

Incredible guidebook. while I have not made the journey yet, one can see from this big that it's filled with real knowledge. I've done the Camino de Santiago, via the primitivo route- so I'm familiar with good and bad videos for long walks, and this one looks like a gem. I'm posting this because there were zero reviews when I purchased....

Highly recommend! I had an unforgettable journey, accompanied by this wonderful book filled with helpful maps, all sorts of recommendations and general important information about the WHW.I also loved that the maps were in black and white and very simplistic, it helped a lot to not get confused and it also left place to add some of your own thoughts or colour anything you’d want to.

We have walked the West Highland Way three times now always using this guide. Not only is it very practical, it highlights beautiful little details: a patch of wild garlic, ruins, pub with good food, etc. The maps are clear, easy to follow, and detailed. We are experienced wilderness backpackers, and so we didn’t need a lot of the information about shoes and routefinding and weather, but this book is still useful for beginners and experienced hikers alike. Highly recommend.
