Every detail of this torque strut looks to be precision engineered. The bead blasted finish on the castings are more than aesthetic and not done to simply cover up casting and workmanship flaws like I have seen on lower quality alternative aftermarket brands. Compared to the OEM brand, this Westar product is better. The bushing center bolt sleeve has a slightly larger OD and the rubber at the frame mount end is slightly larger as well. This improves on the OEM design, making it less prone to wearing out, becoming too soft and too flexible, which is why the OEM brand fails so quickly.
