I am very pleased with the build quality of this drain. Heavy metal most likely brass based with clean chrome coating. Sealed great with the provided gasket and the button doesn't stay that high when closed like most other drains. This is exactly what I was looking for. Looks great, works perfectly and was a direct fit replacement.

This looks nice a operates fine once installed. Looks to be all metal construction which is nice. Watch yourself when handling though - The threads were razor sharp and I sliced my thumb pretty badly when applying plumber's putty to the underside of the drain for install. These should have been de-burred in manufacturing! Knocking off two stars due to the bloody install...

Needed a new drain stop so I first went to the home store and picked up a Danco unit that broke after one cycle of the pop unit which got me searching for a better built drain stop. Was very pleased to find that this unit had no plastic parts and had a very good finish. Was also a plus that it fits a 1 1/2 drain without using one of the plastic adapters that tend to break.
