Looks nice. Functions well. Less mechanisms to fail. Only thing...if you have a house full of people with long hair, you'll be taking this apart weekly to unclog the drain instead of the hair being on top.

This drain looks nice, but it is not functional. We remodeled our bathroom and had this installed in a new tub to match our fixtures. The drain worked for about two weeks, with minimal use. The tub is mainly used for showers and then ice baths after physical therapy. It stopped holding water after two weeks. We have attempted to adjust with no avail. Our last push drain lasted for years. Did not attempt to return because the remodel project took so long and we had this drain for a while before it was installed so we did not know it wouldn’t work and we are out of return window. Very disappointed.

I can’t speak to how well the finish holds up as I just installed it. Easy to install but you will need the appropriate tool. Looks good installed.

Really good quality, sturdy construction with a smooth matte black finish. I would highly recommend this. It’s easy to install (I used some plumber’s putty instead of the additional o-ring provided which gave me a nice waterproof seal without having to over tighten). I would suggest being extra cautious using a screwdriver to install the overflow drain cover. The finish will get scratched if you slip and knick it accidentally. The whole system works well. The seal on the drain plug works to keep the tub filled for baths, and the overall look is exactly what I wanted.

I looked around and this is the most modern and functional fixture. I replaced my old jacuzzi tub release with this and it looks and works much better.
