Due to the price, i thought i was taking a chance with the Wescott 4x4 Scrim Jim. Was a frame and a diffuser worth that much? Turns out, it IS! Very easy to put together, i would say very light for it's size. And stood up on a C-Stand, it's SOLID. To mount it, i used the Wescott Cine Clamp (sold separately) but i feel it's worth getting because you can then tilt the scrim in any direction and feel it's being held tight with the clamp, which clamps down directly across the bar. I just received the Scrim Jim Cine Kit, but so far it seems like a sturdy, light and portable way to solve one of a shooter's greatest problems.... the sun. I'll be using it as a solo shooter, no crew or assistants needed to hold up the diffuser. Great product, well worth the price and piece of mind, in my opinion.
