What I liked was I didn't have to remove the bumper or grill on my 2018 F150. It looks great and makes your winch very accessible. What I didn't like was it took 2hrs just to get the factory tow hooks off, there was a rubber plastic gromet that covers the factory tow hooks and I had to cut them with snips and a hacksaw blade in little pieces to get them out. Not the winch mount fault, after they are removed the install was fast and easy. Great product very well made.

The directions are really, really awful! They ask you to remove the tow hooks but really don’t describe how to do it. There are several other vague directions throughout. Beside that the install was fairly straight forward if you have basic mechanical knowledge. Removing the front bumper is totally not necessary however I think it would make the process go a lot faster if you’re going it alone. The winch mount however is great! I installed a hitch receiver (not included and did required minor modifications to the plate) on it to help push a trailer down a narrow driveway. This also helped me increase the versatility of the mount in my opinion. Overall, the winch plate works super well and seams very stout! This was by far one of the easiest ways I found to add a winch to my 3.5 Ecoboost.

This mount is very sturdy and fits very well. I have a 2017 Ecoboost and I wanted a hidden winch mount but because of the intercooler placement, there isn’t any options. This is definitely the way to go. Very aggressive look and it doesn’t stick out off the bumper anymore than a bull bar. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because the instructions for mounting are almost useless because they are so confusing and there an zero videos online. Great if you can figure it out though.

Overall its a good quality, beefy winch mount. I wanted a winch mount, but having an ecoboost truck I can't do the hidden winch mount, and I don't like the look and price of a huge fabricated bumper. This fit the job perfectly. Installation was easy, once I figured out how to remove the front bumper (pretty easy). The instructions are a bit vague, they don't mention removing the bumper, or how to remove the bumper, so you will need to look up a video for that. Westin didn't bother to weld any shackle mounts or tow hooks to it, instead you must buy their tow hooks separately for about $80. If they were kinder, they could have easily only drilled 2 holes, and lined them up to be able to reuse the factory tow hooks. I drilled an extra hole and reused the factory tow hooks and hardware.

This tray was ordered and came in promptly. Packaged well -- no damage. Parts are made of heavy metal and fabricated well. Basically there are two mounting arms, and then tray to mount on the front of them. The mounting arms are great with four bolts to connect to frame. Only hitch is that the second bolt backis directly above part of the plastic air dam and I had to cut a hole (doesn't show from eyeline around thetruck) to put a socket up through to tighten it. Tray is just three bolts on each side and five minutes. I also bought and added the tow hooks -- three bolts each and a good buy. Winch installed in tray with no problems. All in all, a great purchase, product and install. And the stainless steel faceplate makes it look great too!

Great product. Very pleased with it and works just as expected. Bought and installed a Traveller's 9,000 lb winch which sat in the tray perfectly. Install was easy enough and no need for a second hand. I had other install problems but it wasn’t because of the product, it was because I have a Ford. Did not have to do any trimming and welding. My truck is a 2018 F150 XLT 2.7L V6 Exoboost.

Very good quality. Mine had a few scratches and I repainted it. Very thick and heavy. Appears it would last.Had it on for 1 month now. Only complaint is that it says it's for a 2015 F150 Ecoboost but it blocks the radar sensor. I disabled the sensor for now because I want a truck with a wich. :) I would say if you are looking for a winch mount look no further.07-31-2020 UPDATE: 07-31-20204 years later still looks great even though it was used and abused many times. Still no rust even after the salty snowy highways. I have a Harbor Freight 12,000LBS winch on it with no issues. I did not have to take my bumper off my 2015 F150 EcoBoost to install it. I still need to relocate the adaptive cruise sensor.
