Funciona genial!!Al contrario que otros comprados en bazares, que se atascan, no giran bien y se rompen al girar un par de veces, esta gira muy bien, suave, y después de mucho uso va como el primer día.Leo bastantes opiniones que dicen que suelta limaduras de plástico, he de decir que la mía no, no he notado ningún roce ni ningún micro plástico en la lechuga.

It's 2024 and I purchased this spinner back in 2020. I was not in the habit of writing reviews but I used them to make purchases. So I figure it's time to start giving back. This spinner was my 2nd attempt at buying a spinner. My first attempt was in 2015 and I figured I go for the more expensive version that seemed to be easier to use. Well, I was wrong. The spring-assisted pump broke when my 10-year-old used it. Since I was past the return window, I reassembled the dislodged parts and used it occasionally. but honestly was turned off from the salad spinner concept and reverted back to precut salad, which was an incredible waste of money. Fast forward 5 years later and I opted for this simple crank version and was blown away. Four years later it is still working as well as when purchased. We use it a couple of times a week and it has helped increase our salad intake because we no longer have to deal with precut salad going bad before we get a chance to use it. Our home cut salad lasts nearly a week and we can now time cutting head lettuce based on our needs as opposed to shopping days. I'm sure I have saved hundreds of dollars over the past 4 years since I made this conversion.I remember when I purchased it the only complaint buyers had was that it didn't have nonskid feet. I am not sure if they have changed it since I purchased it but my workaround for this was to spin in the sink. In fact, spinning in the sink has made it even easier to use. Instead of the spinner being table or counter height, it's about waist height and gives you better leverage, and requires less exertion. After I have done my washing, I simply place the top on and push the spin to the corner of the sink closest to my right hand (I'm right-handed) and start cranking. After about 5 revolutions I dump out the excess water and give it another couple of cranks and virtually all of the water is expelled.I can attest that it is easy to use, sturdy, and well worth the investment. Finally, in terms of cleaning a friend gave me a tip years ago in regards to any devices that cut veggies like blenders, choppers etc. which was simply to rinse them off immediately after use. This prevents small dried-on pieces. So I simply quick rinse all veggie bit off spinner and top promptly and hand washing is a breeze then or later.

Ho acquistato la Westmark Centrifuga per insalata e devo dire che sono davvero soddisfatto. È molto facile da usare: basta girare la manopola e in pochi secondi l’insalata è perfettamente asciutta. La capacità è ottima, riesco a centrifugare una buona quantità di insalata in una volta sola.Un altro punto a favore è che è robusta, sembra fatta con materiali resistenti e anche la pulizia è semplice. In più, il meccanismo è fluido e non richiede sforzo. In definitiva, la consiglio a chi vuole preparare insalate fresche senza perdere tempo!

This salad spinner is just what I was looking for! I wanted a basic spinner - I.e., not one with a pump mechanism, brakes, drainage holes, or locking levers, all of which just make the spinner more difficult to use and clean, and increase the chance of malfunction. This spinner is large and can easily hold an entire head of lettuce; it spins easily and very fast, which means the lettuce spins quite dry in short order; it is easy to assemble and disassemble, and a cinch to clean.The only downside is its large size but only because I have a tiny kitchen. However, since I eat a large salad every day, this item is worth the space it takes. Plus I can use the bowl to hold my salad greens in the refrigerator.This is a great value for the price and quickly and easily spins the salad greens dry. Definitely one of my best kitchen purchases.

The right size for making salad for two. Comes apart for easy cleaning. Works pretty well however holding the spinner while it’s spinning is a challenge. It needs a handle on the side..

I'm a vegan, so eating my veggies isn't a casual kind of thing for me. I needed a vegetable spinner to help ensure that any undesirable residues were removed, and that I was able to easily remove excess moisture when I need to do things like roast kale chips. In looking for a spinner I went through way too many product reviews to the point where I had no clue what to try. I have a friend with the Oxo spinner but was turned off by finding out that the plastic top discolored and eventually degraded leaving small amounts of plastic on her veggies. And I was unimpressed by what I'd seen in the stores as they seemed either way to small to be effective or were awkward to use. And frankly I was hoping to get one in something other than the green that every manufacturer seems to think is best for cutting boards and such. So I started looking on Amazon.After looking at a bunch of models from several manufacturers I decided to give this one a try. In short, I love it! This is so easy to use - toss in the wet veggies, turn the handle a couple times and it is quickly done. The lid does snap on in firmly in place, and the mechanism is very smooth and easy to get up to the speed necessary to remove both liquid and small solids. I had no problems with holding it in place while turning th handl, and had to apply only a very minimal amount of pressure to keep the spinner in place. And loved that it was also available in red!I think that the best indication of how good this performs is in the actual results: I filled it with some "organic triple rinsed" kale, turned the handle three times and then waited for the spinner to stop; after removing the kale that tripple washed kale had left a visible amount of dirty gritty residue on the bowl. Yuk! Now I know my kale is clean!This to me is the best value for a salad spinner anywhere, and I would say that it makes this vegan very happy!
