Fit is great, did what we wanted from protection perspective, also importantly he liked it. But the material is both balling and wearing from just 10 days of jumping in and out of the pool. So fine for this holiday but unlikely to use it for sun protection again.

This is a super cute set and it looks darling on my son! For reference, he is 16 months, almost 30 pounds and about 33 inches tall. We ordered the 2T and the bottoms fit a little on the large side as we expected. But its the beginning of summer so we want this to last! The top is very slim fitted and its pretty tight around his buddha belly and tight around his big old head. Its even worse when it is soaking wet!! However, it works to keep his sensitive skin covered. But not sure the shirt will last us as long as the bottoms!The drawstring on the bottoms is fully functional and helps keep these in place. It has a mesh lining but no swim diaper. It is not marketed to have one in there, but worth mentioning! The legs are not as wide as some other brands we have tried but they are definitely long on him.Overall, this set is super cute and the colors are fun! The fit is as expected and we are very happy!

My son has fair skin (like his poor mother), and for whatever reason, this summer the sun seems brighter. We're using the same kind of sunscreen we've always used. We're in the same backyard. We're in the same pool for the same duration. But he keeps ending up touched by too much sun, especially on his shoulders and chest.I've never used a rash guard set like this, but I'm really happy about this. The shirt has SPF 50 protection, which means I don't have to worry quite as much. The surfboard pattern is cute and boyish. I particularly like it on the trunks. Those have a functional drawstring and the mesh insert. No pockets.I'm really pleased with this. It's certainly going to make me feel better about our pool days!

This is a great swim set for my 8year old son. The shirt fits him just right and is comfortable for him to wear. The shorts actually have a functional drawstring, which is a huge plus. We like that he can get a comfortable and secure fit. The colors are bright and perfect for summer. The quality is good for the price. I have noticed after about a month of almost daily use the shirt is getting little fuzzies on it. Not a huge deal but it might jot be good enough quality to pass down to a younger sibling after tons of use this summer. He likes it and thinks it is comfortable and likes the colors, so we are happy with it. I hope this assists you with your shopping. My son has fair skin and burns easily so this rash guard set is something he definitely needed. This fits him perfectly and for size reference he’s 6 years old and is wearing the size 8. The shorts have an elastic waistband and functional drawstring. The swim trunks also have a mesh lining. There are no pockets on the shorts. This set washes well and dries fast. The stitching looks great with no loose threads at all. The design & colors are cute and my son says it’s comfortable to wear. This is a product & brand that I’d purchase again.

This is a good suit for our six-year-old. Fits well. He can swim in it well. It is sun protective, so I don't have to use as much sunscreen. And he likes the look of it.I have a mild allergy to sunscreen. He doesn't seem to yet, but we are also light-skinned people that burn easily and have skin cancer in our family history. So we always wear sun shirts and often long sleeve ones (adults and kids). I appreciate good ones that really are protective.

True to size age 6, perfect fit. It states the item is hand wash only but I've been naughty and chucked it in the machine on a 40° wash with the rest of our clothes as I'm a busy mum who works full time, I just don't have the energy for hand washing clothes I'm afraid. It came out fine, no shrinkage just line dried, still fits great with no fading. If your like me then take the gamble but if not then please follow the care label instructions, the choice is yours!Honestly can't comment on the uv protection due to having such poor weather in the UK right now all its done is rain so it hasn't been used in that aspect and we cannot go abroad right now either but like I say fit wise it is great and has had some use at our local swimming pool. My little boy looks great in it and says it is comfortable to swim in.Can be worn with or without the top as the bottoms are proper swimming shorts.

This is a really good swim set that both looks cool and fits well, it's got plenty of stretch to it and although I cannot try it on myself my boy has made no complaints so I can only assume it's very comfortable, it's well made and feels strong, washes well and came with zero defects or bad stitching, I think the big plus for me was the UPF rating of 50 meaning it only allows 1/50th of the sun's UV radiation to pass through it as this is going to be used in very sunny weather I think it's essential, all in all, a really fab swim set for the price, I love it.

I ordered this for my 6 year old and the shorts are a little wide, but they have a very functional draw string, so I can cinch them up and make them fit well. The rash guard fits perfectly.
