better built that the rusted out one I replaced on a 1994 75hp . Housing is thicker and wiring harness is same gauge wire and outer cover. As good if not better than OEM.FYI, when installing the unit, place the back bolt into the mounting hole to save you from cussing. LOLDon't hesitate to message me for instructions,
