It was exactly what I ordered and not too hard to install. Some instructions and a note to protect the chrome would be nice, though. It started to rust within the first month.

2001 Tacoma PreRunner 360k miles and a bashed bumper/tailgate. New bumper now on over a month (August 2024) and no issues. It's a really good fit. It's lighter than OEM and the structural insert is part of the reason as it's less beefy looking than the OEM. I chose to only use the bumper, meaning I re-used the OEM support brackets (2) and the OEM hardware, no particular reason, just did it that way. The bumper comes complete with the plastic step pieces, hardware and license plate lighting fixtures. Took me a while to get it all back together but that was because I have a class IV hitch that also needed to be taken off, reinstalled and I did this solo. Have a crappy bumper? Replace it with this one!

Looked pretty good when first installed, but after 8 months over a very dry Summer, it's rusting quickly! It's already dripping rust on the driveway. The 21-year-old bumper I removed didn't stain the driveway as much as this one is. I understand that when you buy an aftermarket bumper at a discounted price, that it's not going to be OEM quality. But if this is the level of quality, they should be paying you to take it off their hands! Do not buy! I repeat... Do NOT Buy!

All in all not a horrible bumper, the metal is fairly thin and the quality isn't great but it is less expensive. My issue is that it started rusting almost immediately and by the time I got it mounted it was too late to return.

Arrived to my house 2 days after buying online. This fit my 2000 Tacoma perfectly. After getting my old rusted, bumper off, it took about 20 minutes to install. Looks brand new. I highly recommend this bumper.
