Super cute but takes up space and honestly don't use the little whale holder... One more thing to wash. It's a ladle.

I bought this not as a gag gift but because my Mom has issues lifting heavy pans, especially when they're full. She liked the color, the subtle whale appearance and it's usefulness.

Recently had a party and made a giant vat of vegan tortilla soup for my guests. This whale ladle worked great for everyone to serve themselves (and everyone went back for seconds or thirds, so it saw some use!) Nearly everyone made a comment on how cute this ladle was, even the big tough guys. Ha! The base was also helpful since everyone could tell it should be returned there instead of just set on the counter. Great ladle!

Man, this ladle is so perfect! The little spoon holder is amazing and it's nice and large! It is nicely made and so far seems like it would hold up well over time. So far we have not noticed any staining or any flimsiness. we have used it a couple of times and it's still looking pretty in pink! I have nothing bad to say about this. if you are in need of such a utensil this is a good one!
