Based on your dishwasher the installation will be very easy to slightly difficult because of the location of this sensor. Mine was not an easy to get to but it took less than 40 min to complete the swap from start to running again. The only thing I had to figure out on my own was the alignment or geared mating. No instructions to indicate one can move the flat edge to align with the receiving end. But it was obvious it was needed so I took the chance and everything worked out just fine.

Have a newer LG Dishwasher that was giving an NE error code. Internet research said it was usually this part. The OEM part supplied at $24 was far less than the LG direct price and it looked easy enough to replace after taking the dishwasher out from the internet videos. Found the videos were for older models and not the current ones with a full plastic base. For these you need to place the dishwasher right side down and you then have access to vario motor from the left side panel which is now on top. One screw is accessible with a long Phillips through the black plastic base on the bottom and the other screw requires the use of a very short Phillips through the left panel access. I used a #2 Phillips 1/4 drive socket by itself and it worked perfectly. You have to pull a nylon toggle off the old unit and move to the new one. The toggle has a unique male pattern in the center tip. Make sure the pattern is in the same position on the dishwasher. You can see it through the same hole used to remove the screw with the long Phillips. If needed, use the long Phillips to gently move the matching female pattern so it lines up with the new part. With that the new motor goes into place easily. The part was an exact match to the one that went bad and fixed the error code.

I installed this part in my dishwasher, and it worked once again great, just like new!After a few weeks it started failing, and the dishwasher went back to not working again. This part has completely failed, as diagnosed with multimeters, 10 days after the return period was over, unfortunately. I think I'm going to buy another one from someone else and hope for better quality this time.

Great, OEM part that repaired my $1,100 dishwasher for only $20 bucks! Hope to never have to do it again but if I do, I know where to buy my parts!
