Amber glass provides protection from light sensitive products and wide mouth is ideal for dry powders. Partitioned carton protects bottles from scratches during shipping, and they become useful for storing samples. Extra screw caps can be purchased separately.

Box showed up undamaged, but many of the bottles inside are broken. This is the top of two layers and as you can see 6 of 42 are broken. Haven’t unpacked to see how many survived on the bottom layer. I guess don’t expect to get the count you pay for.

These are pretty decent; I use them for spices because the amber glass helps to keep light away from the spices, especially chili powders that can go bad if exposed to light. They have a variety of uses besides this and are commonly used in laboratories.4-star review:The only reason I give it a 4-star rating is because although they function nicely for what I need them for, they're extremely fragile. Just lightly having one bottle tap another one when putting it back in the cabinet resulted in the one bottle getting a crack all the way up the side. Obviously this is bad for food related uses and the bottle and its contents had to be thrown away.All in all they're a good product--just be careful when handling them to avoid cracking or shattering one. They're very fragile.

I have been looking for small colored glass jars to store herbs & spices, I came accross these and got them they are perfect. Wide mouthed, so a measuring spoon fits inside, & not clear so the light won't damage or deplete the contents potency...
