These low cost home alignment tools are mostly similar. I like these and they are handy. Fit the rig without pulling the brakes. I am not sure how accurate they are but checked with a straight edge. The pieces go together tightly with no play and I had very little variation across the length. I measure using high qaulity tools and the variation I saw could be explained by the coating. These will get you close in the garage and save you some time from others by working around the brakes. The levels that come will help get the set up evenly but not much use for chamber. 4 stars because of the general design issues inherent in all of these. You usually won't get as good of results as a laser shop alignment.

My other toe alignment plates were tough to use with the vehicle undercarriage frequently getting in the way, the extended drop on this kit solved that issue and made my first alignment with this kit super easy. This kit comes with two tape measures and the 2 axis bubble levels, these sure make the job easier.

It's not a real rigid tool that you can toss in a work environment and not worry about it. The tape measures are good enough for what they need to do. However one was already bent. It definitely is a handy devise for what it is made for.

With the correct process, these wheel alignment plates will get you close on only toe settings. Other than most trucks and a few select cars, caster and camber are not adjustable on vehicles today. If your vehicle is designed with adjustable caster and camber, you will need to have these checked by other means. These seem to be made well and after assembling, the accuracy of the 90° bend and straightness appear very close. Be sure you obtain the correct toe settings for your vehicle and that all surfaces are clean…..alignment plates and your rotors. After placing the front end on jack stands, if your rotors are loose after removing the wheel, use another couple of lug nut towards the top to help secure the rotor in place. Make sure each side is level with the provided bubble level and use the provided tape measures per the instructions to measure your toe. If adjustments are needed, I center my steering wheel and secure it by looping the seat belt around the bottom of the steering wheel, then clicking into place. I also use the old school string method in conjunction with these alignment plates to pinpoint how much to adjust on each side. There are plenty of YouTube videos showing this string method. Bottom line, if all surfaces are clean and alignment plates are installed properly , you should be able to set your toe well into the correct toe range setting for your vehicle.

Bear with me, I’m writing this review for my husband. He loves the tool. He said that he feels confident that the alignment was done right, but that it’s more of a temporary fix you’d do at home in between services. As in if we really needed an alignment, we could do this and it would last a while before we really really needed an alignment. He said the simple design and steel construction make this a great value for the money. He also said the instructions were great. We recommend it.
