It is heavy and solid. You attach it to the hub and go at it. It is made out of iron and has multiple bolts for various variations of hubs. It is a great product and a good value for my money.

PROS: Heavy duty construction, has more mass than competing designs, large strike surface, quality attachment hardware.CONS: None of significance.Positive experience removing a 5-bolt axle with this tool. Use facilitated by the large strike area. Had no concern of item bending or failing during use - heavy duty construction. Consistent paint on item and solid welds (slight about of weld splatter). Had no issues with the included hardware although a storage bag would be a nice accessory. Visually comparing this item with pictures of competing models show that this item is more solidly built.
