I guess you get what you pay for, cheap boot. Good for extra security if you live in a bad neighborhood and are worried about your car being stolen I was expecting the metal to be a little bit thicker though. Someone that is semi skilled within an electric saw would probably be able to cut in in half fairly easy.

I have both styles of these sort of wheel locks. Although this style doesn't appear as sturdy as the style used by cities when they boot your car, this style is much quicker and easier to install. That's a plus. If my trailer is going to be parked a while, I usually use both. They act as a deterrent. If someone really wants it, then an angle grinder can easily chop right through the locks because these units sold on Amazon are just stamped metal. But every little thing helps. And an angle grinder makes a lot of noise. Smith and Wesson kicks in at that point.
