This is a replacement for the rear wheel of my BMX 20" bike. The wheel it replaced was an aluminum rim that the brake shoes wore through. It is made of chrome plated steel and the shoes do not wear out steel. I replaced the front wheel several years ago for the same reason with steel and it shows no sign of wear.The wheel runs true (no wobble), the axle is 7" long and fits exact. I checked the bearings and they had the proper amount of grease, there was a little burring at the butt-weld that joins the wheel, but put a small amount of electrical tape over it. I recommend (with any spoke wheel) putting 2 layers of electrical tape around the diameter as well as the rubber band with the hole in it that you get with the inner-tube.I have put it into service and have no problems with it.

Over all the wheel looks good. My only complaint is the weld. You can see the seem on both sides. Then it was ground down . And there are thick sharp edges left. That if I try to put a tire and tube on . They will be destroyed. I have tried to contact the seller. With no luck of getting g any response. The tag on the wheel say" Prouldy hand made in the USA"
