When I first used the edger, it was hard to roll back and forth because the edge had both dirt and thick grass and had to stop to get the dirt and grass out of the roller and blades.It will work only if the edge is already been dug and grass is cut with grass cutter first.

This product does what we want it to do. However, we have a very small area to hedge so we have only used it twice. We like that they give you enough handle so it can be adjusted to your height making using it a lot easier. Does exactly what we expected it to do.

I would have been nice to have more instructions on how to assemble to product, and also describe at what tension lever the blade part of the edger should be at. There were also no instructions on exactly how to use the product, even if sort of self explanatory. Despite limited directions, it makes the edging on my yard look awesome.

Definitely usable for keeping grass in check, but if you have a bit of dirt overshooting the side walk or driveway you'll have a tough time moving through. A bit of dirt can clog up the works quickly. Would recommend for maintenance but not for redefining the edge.

This actually works quite well. I have an electric edger and you can adjust the depth of how deep it curs into the dirt. This however you cannot, so it's one size depth for all. This needs to be put together, just basically the poles and 2 screws. The blades are sharp so I suggest keeping the foam block they come in to also protect them from dulling.This gave me a decent lawn edge. You will have to go over the area a few times to get all the grass and also first time use you'll dig a bunch of dirt out but the next time should be easier and easier. You have trained the edge so its easy.
