I didn't want to buy a barrel vise for infrequent barrel install use so I got these bad boys. Used a drill press to drill out the exact diameter needed; and then used a normal vise to torque on my barrel (drywall tape in between the block and the barrel). Had to really crank on the vise jaws to get the barrel to stop spinning but it finally met the torque specs and verified with go/no-go gauges. Not the simplest or quickest method but it worked.
