The rim I received for my Schwinn 3-speed beach cruiser was too wide for the new 26 x 2.0 tires I bought for it. Clearly it wasn't compatible for modern day fat tire cruisers. Seller should make a note of that. I did give the seller an extra star for providing me a new, fully assembled Nexus shifter to replace the original one. The 1st gear on the original one wasn't working. So, thanks. Had to order a proper rim on eBay. How can I return for a refund?

Perfect replacement for my vintage bicycle with a kaplooey Shimano 333. I was even able to use the original handle shifter and bell crank.

Exactly what I was looking for, I was initially scared because of the reviews, but realized the negative reviews were mostly people who didn’t know the size they were looking for, so it didn’t fit.This is basically an update for the older 3 speed sturmey archer 3 speed wheels on the older English style cruisers, not the fat tire beach cruisers.Comes with everything you need including twist shifter, cables, rear cog and lock ring and mounting nuts.

This was the worst purchase I have made through Amazon and considering that it might be my last. First off the package was damaged on arrival. The rim was bent and was considering returning it right then and there. With the bent rim and was looks like a very poor quality weld holding the rim together. I figured just swamp out the rim, that is when it discover that the size it the rim was some odd size not 26 for sure, couldn’t even get an 26 tire on the rim if I tried. Anyway like the hub and wish I would have only bought the hub on eBay for $80 since I am going to have to go the work myself. Horrible!!!!

This works great, but buyer be ware... this rim only accepts 590mm tires. These tires are not your normal 26” line of current size 26” tires. There are actually 3 different diameter of 26” wheels. Make sure you have a 590mm tire, and this size tire will most likely be very narrow compared to current size tires. These tires were actually used on the “old English racers “

Rim is true. Nexus 3 hub is awesome, shifts great. Easy to install. Only reason I am giving it four instead of five is, the kit comes with everything needed except a couple clamps to keep the cable from going where ever it wants. But all in all it is awesome and way worth the money
