I recked the rear wheel for the Univega bike. This rear wheel fits perfectly! I believe the bike had 26-inch tires. Also, it had Shimano Altus or some Shimano cassette 8 gears and it worked wonderfully.

Enjoying riding mountain roads and trails again on my 1989 Ritchey Outback thanks to the purchase of this new rear wheel. This wheel was a replacement for the existing one which was on the verge of rim failure after years of wear from the brake pads. The purchase was easy and the wheel arrived two days earlier than promised. I highly recommend this vendor.

Description says quick release... came with axle nuts... didn't realize until I installed my freewheel on it from the old wheel. Really disappointed.

This is a very fine rim for under 100 bucks, my rim was true, and the hub is very quite. I don't like a loud hub cause it scares away animals in the woods. It is how ever on the heavy side. It's no state rim or a zipp, but it's very sturdy. Any other brand of rim that's under 100 bucks is garbage and ment for like a 10 year old. I got 2 sets of these rims and they are infact hand made. The marriage line on the rim sticks up very slightly, but a 30 second sand down fixes that. All in all, this is a very good rim.

Would have liked 6-11mm inside width added to the 19mm. Built in USA,double wall = good.

I would really love this wheel better if they would tru the wheel before shipping.I mean that's one of the reason's i bought this.Ten minutes on a truing stand and i would of gave it 5 stars.

this wheel looks great and spins true..this is the second wheelmaster wheel I hav bought.For the money it they are a good value...The only proble I had with the first one was the bearing wore fast even after grease,so I replaced them with quality ones...So on this new wheel I am going to replace the bearings before I even use it and am sure I will get many years of service out of it...The first one was a 27 inch the new one a 26...
