These fit the 'female' or 'nut' side of the chainring bolt. I needed to shim a threaded chainring, so needed something smaller. Ended up getting washers from the local hardware store (stainless steel, not alloy - probably a couple grams more but a LOT cheaper)

Used to convert a 10/11 speed large chainring to work as a 6/7/8/9 on a Campy double crankset.

Needed them to get mobile. Had no help from the local bike shops probably because I did not look like a serious rider. Just an old guy fixing his bike. None of them had chainrings, right. Of course they must. One shop lost the purchase of a boy's new bike and one for my wife because they had attitude and could not part with 5 rings. So I order this bag and, since they are thin, used 10 of them for adjusting my chainring. Sweet as pie! That's why I love Amazon. No attitude, just the results you want.

I needed to push my chainring inwards towards my bottom bracket in order to achieve a better chainline. I purchased these spacers and they did exactly that with no issues what so ever. I could have easily order wider spacers but there is enough in the bag (20) to compensate for my mistake via stacking of more than one spacer. I saw a 15% average power increase (according to strava) on my most recent ride after fixing my chainline. I'm talking mountain biking not road biking by the way. Two thumbs way up for these!

a must have when working with vintage bicycles.a chainring should be correctly spaced to prevent the chain from falling off & damaging a rare frame.packed well & arrived fast.thanks.

I'm using this to fix the chain rubbing on the outer chainring when the chain is on the middle chainring and on the smallest cog. Works fine and it is an easy fix. No need to avoid that chainring/cog combination anymore.
