Bought for my 2017 Trek Madone with BB90 SRAM GXP crank."life" saver for an avid cyclist. Replaced my SRAM bearings and then my crank arm fell off, losing my dust cover on the nondrive side. The GXP system has a shouldered spindle, 22mm on the Non Drive Side. The NDS crank arm bolts on and sandwiches the NDS bearing. The drive side bearing I would describe as floating then. With the proper spacers and wiggle washer, a small amount of pressure pre-loads that drive side bearing to keep it from going anywhere. Took 3 tries to get the right stack of washers. The seals also act as spacers, and help keep out contaminants.
