My son is 2. I purchased this as something I thought he might play with. He is speech delayed and he did have hearing impairment before having tubes placed in his ears. His speech therapist informed me that these are usually for older children. I was not aware, but we will hold on to it and hopefully get more use out of it later on. I think itβs a great idea behind it. Maybe more for children 4+

I had no idea how much my son would love this. He has nonverbal autism and uses sounds to stim. He will play with this for hours, whistling into it. Much more pleasant than blasting the music from his ipad. Give it a try!

These little things are great. I was going to make them myself out of pvc pipes or something but it's actually a little tricky to find the right pieces at a normal home improvement store and they are heavy and chunky. And on top of that the two prototypes I put together were not that much cheaper than these little whisperphones so hey, I went and bought the real deal. They're lightweight and effective.

This is a very useful tool for speech therapy and music therapy it helps the child to listen and correct themselves. The fact that they don't have to hold it makes it much more convinient.
