I picked this up to use as trim on some clothing I'm sewing thinking it would be pretty to run ribbon though the slot holes on this lace. This lace arrived balled up in a zip baggie and upon removal I found the lace edges roll around itself requiring me to manually smooth out the lace. I may need to iron it to lay flat. The lace has been embroidered upon fine netting like organza which has been crudely cut away. In one area of my lace this is pretty obvious where the manufacturer has done a poor job leaving parts of the mesh and even cutting into the lace destroying several inches of the piece. The lace measures about 10 feet total still leaving me with a lot to work with, but because of the cheapness of it I am not sure if I can work with it nor if it will hold up to use and repeated washing. It's cheap, and while it may work fine for crafting like scrap booking, I'm not sure this would be a good application to clothing or costuming. At the present price of $5.99 this seems inexpensive for lace but considering how cheaply made it is that's a bit much.
