I've built a bunch of cigar box guitars and usually gotten the fret board dot inlays from CB Gitty. Those are probably 4mm deep, but these pearl inlays are less than 1mm deep. I don't even know if I can drill a hole that shallow. Will trying using a forstner bit. I assumed they were going to have some substance. My fault for not reading the description carefully.
