Product was what I expected and shipping was good. Only thing I didn’t like was that I had to drill my own holes to attach it

This review is specific to the Rawlings Coolflo helmet. First, they include a template to trim the flap so it fits on the helmet better. Seems silly to spend $20 only to have to do DIY modifications to the product. I got it to fit without trimming by putting longer screws in; the ones they supplied weren't long enough, which may be why they ask you to trim it, I have no idea what their reasoning is here. Second, they expect you to take the padding off the inside of the helmet in order to drill a third hole in a helmet you probably paid $50 or more for. They supply a T-nut and screw for the new hole. Then, you are supposed to use two-sided tape to put the padding back in. I skipped this part. It is on there plenty tight with only the two screws, but I can't guess if the third one is necessary to avoid cracking if it does get hit with a ball.
