Heavy gauge connector smooth edges and counter sunk screws perfect length to make sure I got a inch of tube in both sides. Broke the main tube for my Bimini Top on 3 month old boat called dealer and was told a few hundred dollars freight and about $700 for frame and labor. So went to the old web and searched aluminum tube repair came along the item and said what do I have to lose. Ordered it they said one date and I received it 2 days early. Worked great not really sure why the frame was aluminum in the first place except to gut cost and weight maybe. Great item and service I will most definitely use MARINE GUYS AGAIN.THANKS

Had my 1”, 316 stainless console rail on my boat dinged by the marina. Cut the bad spot out and joined it back together with this connector. Rail looks perfect, is straight and can’t tell it’s a repair and not factory. Well made, this isn’t cheap crap.

I needed to add an additional brace to a canvas top on my boat to prevent rainwater from pooling. The two SS pipes I had were too short for the span. I used this Tube Connector to join the two pipes in the center after cutting them to the right lengths. I like having two set screws to hold each end in the connector. The fit and finish of the connector are good. Hopefully it will continue to hold.

This is a great product if you are looking for something of quality. I am using this as a handle bracket. I will be using 2 of these on each side, together, to run tubing handle through these connectors. I am betting that these will never fall apart or rust, and should last me for the rest of my life. The connectors have a flat side for flat flush mounting. Also, a 1 inch OD aluminum tubing will fit the connector rather nicely. This cannot be said of other products that claim the fit but are too small. The only drawback is that I wish they were about 5-5.5 inches long as one piece to work better with my project, otherwise, I just put two connectors together to achieve nearly the same results. I can see these connectors being used for other attachments other than boat railings. I am a very satisfied customer.

Quality casting, finely polished, heavy and substantial. Stainless steel, not plated.I ordered one of these as a test, as they're a little pricey. I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised, and I ordered two more to finish my project. It's a high quality fitting. Good for marine handrails, bimini tops, swimming pools, RVs, and architectural railing - anywhere you would need to join 1" O.D. stainless tubing. Looks exactly like the picture.
